Black women STOP attending Black Lives Matter protests – something is wrong

Alex Mayers suggests Black women stop attending Black Lives Matter protests due to the movement having lost its direction (no longer revolving around the lives of Black women) – AND due to the danger of the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition Alex Mayers reviews this history of how the Democratic Party gained Black American loyalty and how the message many so called Black male “leaders” spew today is the opposite of Martin Luther King Jr’s (which is dangerous as it opens the door for dangerous white supremacists to gain ground and further their segregationist agendas).

Political News Time – the Shaun King saga continues: Newsweek reports former police are after him.

It was only a few days ago the Alex Mayers discussed a few elements in regards to the controversial activist Shaun King’s statements about white Christians, Jesus and white supremacy. As of June 26, 2020 Shaun has made national news headlines in regards to an alleged group of Long Beach former police officers who were supposedly “openly plotting” to kill him on Facebook – supposedly in part due to push to Defund the Police (which Alex Mayers does NOT think is a good idea).

Political News Time – Racism, Tokenism & a history lesson about Trump courtesy of Omarosa’s book

On tonight’s broadcast – Alex reminds her viewers that the Covid-19 pandemic is
far from over and that continuing to practice good hygiene and wearing a mask
is very important.

In addition Alex shares some thoughts on how many of today’s older politicians
embody and project more racist ideals than she’s comfortable with, which is why
she’d prefer to see Presidential election ticket with younger candidates.

Also Alex Mayers explains how “tokenism” is an issue that many African-Americans
contend with and she relates the situation to Omarosa Manigault Newman’s experience
with Donald Trump.

Alex concludes the podcast with a bit of history from Omarosa’s book in regards
to the personal beef between Donald Trump and Barack Obama – and how that beef
may have led to Trump’s decision to run for President.

PNTLIVE – Today’s active Black pornstars are DEPENDENT upon racism & are complicit.

From Alexandra Mayers’ perspective, June 10th’s Xbiz Town Hall in regards to racism in the American pornography revealed that today’s active adult actors and actresses of color are not only complicit, but are DEPENDENT upon the industry’s racism (and racist practices) to continue working and avoid contending with competitors entering (and being accepted within) their industry.

From this day forth, Alexandra Mayers will continue to document perceived racism in the adult entertainment industry, but will no longer complain about it on behalf of today’s talent (who she now knows is just fine with the pornography industry remaining exactly as it is).

Notes and observations from the online meeting can be found here:

A few notes from today’s Xbiz Town Hall (online meeting) in regards to racism in the adult industry

the truth of AVN media network’s treatment of pornstars Mr. Marcus & Sean Michaels #BlackLivesMatter

Alexandra Mayers (founder, owner and host of the PNTLIVE network – also formerly known as adult actress Monica Foster) shares a supresed interview conducted by retired adult actress Melissa Hill – featuring veteran Black adult actors Mr. Marcus and Sean Michaels – which revolves around an instance of extreme racism and bigotry each experienced and endured at the hands of AVN media network’s staff at AVN media network events (the 2017 AVN media network nomination party and the 2018 AVN media network awards ceremony).

Since this interview was conducted Melissa Hill was asked to leave the radio platform she hosted her show through (possibly in part due to this interview) and felt pressured to resign from the APAG union. In addition, at the time of the incidents related in this interview Sean Michaels was President of the APAG union – but after the incidents resigned from his position.

Earlier this week the AVN media network released a press release stating that they support the Black Lives Matter (#BlackLivesMatter) movement, but from Alexandra Mayers perspective the statement is disingenuous.

The pornstar who appears to be behind the instances of racism Sean Michaels and Mr. Marcus experiences, Tasha Reign, today appears to be attempting to claim to support #BlackLivesMatter simply in effort to gain social acceptance and increase her fan base.

Considering AVN employee Peter Warren’s public communication and relationships with white supremacists such as Sean Tompkins aka TRPWL and the operators of XXXstarPR – Alexandra Mayers questions why the AVN media network (owned by Tony Rios) continues working with Warren (if they do indeed support Black Lives Matter).

There has been a severe racism problem in the adult entertainment industry for many years, but Black Performers DO have a voice – several voices in fact – should they choose to acknowledge those voices and listen to those voices rather than ignore those voices in effort to gain the acceptance of their white privilege enabled (and often racist) peers.

An educational & insightful interview with adult actress & performer advocate Lasha Lane (part 4)

In part 4 of this comprehensive interview with adult actress and adult performer advocate Lasha Lane, Lasha and Alexandra discuss the adversity women in the adult entertainment industry face when they attempt to speak out about issues revolving around elements such as inequality, racism, discrimination and/or abuse. Though Alexandra & Lasha May not agree on everything – they both definitely agree that everyone deserves the right to have their perspective heard.

An educational & insightful interview with adult actress & performer advocate Lasha Lane (part 2)

In part 2 of this comprehensive interview with adult actress and adult performer advocate Lasha Lane (click here to view part 1) – Lasha outlines what she feels are cost inequities within the FSC controlled PASS system and how some studios appear to be “grandfathered” into the pass network and don’t have to pay to access talent records (whereas others do).

In addition Lasha Lane makes it clear that she’s willing to work with all of the adult industry leadership entities (such as the FSC, APAC and APAG) as she feels that they’d all be more effective were they to unite (opposed to continuing to fight).

Lasha states that one of her goals is keep the government out of the adult industry (in regards to regulation). Lasha Lane also delves into the perception of Black (African American) women in the industry (the mainstream vs. urban debate) and expresses how she is glad that a few Black women in the industry are finally exercising their voice.

Lasha Lane shares her long term objectives within the adult entertainment industry and outlines how she believes the long standing adult industry institutions, media outlets and awards shows (such as AVN ) at their core seem to want to be more inclusive and promote diversity, but don’t appear to know exactly how to do so (due to the “old guard” within the industry)… Lasha hopes that her efforts will shift the industry in a more productive and positive direction when it comes to educating the industry (as a whole) in regards to what inclusiveness in actuality is.

The primary change Lasha Lane feels should occur within the industry should be the elimination of pornstar talent agents, agencies and publicists – due to people in such positions having too much perceived (and unjustified) “power” in regards to the type of content produced, who works (versus who doesn’t), the existence of the illegal problematic prostitution rackets, and the global “trends” the industry at times dictates (as being valid) to the public.

In the upcoming part 3 of this interview Lasha Lane goes into detail in regards to the dispute between APAG union leaders and FSC leaders in regards to a future proposed program to provide adult performers with RESOURCES and EDUCATE adult performers as to what the realities of what the porn industry really are.

An educational & insightful interview with adult actress & performer advocate Lasha Lane (part 1)

Alexandra Mayers conducts an insightful and educational interview with adult actress and performer advocate Lasha Lane in regards to a plethora of issues today’s adult performers face (especially in regards to the Free Speech Coalition’s PASS testing network).

This is a 2 part interview.

In this video (part 1), Lasha specifically addresses her concerns about the affordability of the STD tests offered by the FSC’s PASS system testing clinics. Lasha questions whether or not the high cost could be hindering performers from a lower financial bracket (performers who are often People Of Color) from having the opportunity to work in the industry consistently (or even at all).

Lasha also notes that upon meeting (and speaking with) the current spokesperson of Talent Health Labs (Kiki D’Aire), her questions and concerns were not properly answered. One of Lasha’s primary questions revolves around how additional affordable STD testing clinics could become a part of the FSC controlled PASS network.

As of current Lasha Lane is hoping the Free Speech Coalition leadership will offer solid answers, so that in time, the adult industry can effectively raise it’s current level of inclusiveness.
